The Lavallois Pole of Higher Education in Digital Arts and Creative Economy, also called the PLAN, is an inter-order initiative of the Montmorency College of the University of Montreal and the University of Quebec at Montreal with a view to providing a concerted response to training and technology transfer challenges posed by the development of digital arts. The objective of the Pole is to support joint actions intended to strengthen the influence of higher education institutions on the development of digital arts training and its transfer throughout the value chain of the creative economy. Laval. Together, these three institutions welcome more than 16,000 students per year and offer more than 500 initial training and continuing education programs.

The PLAN entrusted the mandate of creating its branding to the agency H2O communication. The objective of this marketing operation was to create notoriety for this new grouping while reflecting the professionalism and academic rigor of this cluster.  First, even before the creation of the branding,

H2O communication had to first create the name of the group. Following a strategic reflection, H2O proposed a representative and distinctive name for the initiative: PLAN, which are the acronyms of “Pôle Lavallois en Arts Numériques”. Then, the agency designed the logo, corporate colors, graphic standards in a professional branding graphically illustrating the artistic and technological universe.

 H2O communication is proud of this achievement, which allows PLAN to display a professional and distinctive image and to position itself as a central player in the field of digital arts and the creative economy. For more information, see their website:
