Charton-Hobbs was established in 1988 when a partnership was struck between two renowned, family-run wine and spirits businesses. Today, it has become one of the oldest agencies in Canada’s wine and spirits industry. Specialized in marketing and selling alcoholic beverages, Charton-Hobbs aims to offer consumers an exceptional experience. With an in-depth knowledge of the Canadian market, Charton-Hobbs is a premier agency for suppliers of fine wines and spirits.
Goal : Charton-Hobbs asked H2O Communication to create an ad campaign promoting four Italian wineries, along with popular Italian chef Stefano Faita. More specifically, H2O Communication’s mission was to develop an original and intriguing concept featuring the chef and his mouth-watering dishes paired with wines from these Italian estates. Posters, brochures and a booth were developed and brought to Quebec’s SAQ outlets to spread the word about these outstanding wines.
– Strategic planning
– Ad campaign
Both original and memorable, the posters capitalize on chef Stefano Faita’s reputation and spectacular Italian landscapes. Four Italian wineries—Beni di Batasiolo, San Felice, Pasqua and Fiol—are showcased to incite consumers to enjoy a taste of Italy by trying these delicious wines.
Results : This ad campaign effectively positions Charton-Hobbs to increase awareness of four noteworthy wineries— Beni di Batasiolo, San Felice, Pasqua and Fiol. At this early stage, it’s hard to know what the results will be. But we’ll be keeping an eye on it!
